Suite 222: This suite has a total of 1,300 sq. ft. and large factory windows on one side. It has been used as a PHOTO STUDIO for the past 3 years, however any creative use would be a good match. For photographers, a full sweep has been meticulously built into one wall with a seamless hard curve at the floor for low key or high key shooting. The primary area is 40’ X 21’ and an office/dressing area has been separated by an 8’ internal wall. The suite rented in one day the last time it became available so jump on this if you’re interested. This is an ideal opportunity for a professional or a few photogs to share the space together, but again, any creative use will work well. $650/mo.

Brand New Large Suite
Suite 230: Hide House has an open, large space (2,500 sq. ft.) that would be ideal for a multi-user photo/video, artist studio/co-op or other creative use. This space has a hip industrial feel with tapered concrete columns and 40’ of great large factory windows that face south. All electric, interior walls/doors and restrooms are new (as of April 1st). The room is “L-shaped” to help with light control when needed. The price on this space is only $1,000 because we want to rent it out now!

Hide House Cooperative - NEW THIS SEPTEMBER!
Hide House is excited to have a near “full house” of artists, bands, creative professionals and community groups at our complex. We are now proud to announce the addition of a new creative space to be used exclusively for an artist co-op. This is a secure, shared area rented to a limited number of artists and to be used for art only.

About the space: The suite is a total of 2,500 square feet and has a wall of beautiful large refurbished factory windows as well as an area of controlled light away from the windows. Restrooms are new and located immediately next to the co-op. Access to the suite is limited to co-op members specifically (ie. there is no traffic from other tenants or common areas except for scheduled events, and this is not a social gathering place for friends of artists). This suite is available 24/7 to meet the needs of artists’ varying schedules. Hide House is limiting the number of co-op members to keep the space workable for artists. Artists can be put on a waiting list for future openings.

About the use: There is too much information to relay in this general posting but here are some of the basics.

      • As mentioned above all co-op members will have 24/7 access.
      • Quiet and dust-free uses are permitted. Art such as painting, collage work, multiple-media, drawing, jewelry and stained glass assembly, and art with similar impact on surrounding artists are compatible in this shared space. Woodworking, welding and arts that are more industrial in nature are not a fit unfortunately.
      • Artists may store and secure their materials in rolling cabinets, lockers or in some custom manner when you are not present.
      • The co-op’s work areas or “stations” are designated by floor lines and unobtrusive partitions.

      Rates: $75.00 per month with a one-month security deposit. This is a rolling month-to-month lease with 60-day notice for your flexibility.       Photo Studio - Daily Rental
       Suite 500: This is a very large room on the 1st floor. Ceiling height is 13’ 6” and the space is 1,800 square feet and measures 46’ X 39’. One wall has 5 huge windows to bring in natural light, or leave the black theatre curtains in place as a massive background. Cream-city brick on one wall, and one wall can be painted any color for your needs but must be returned to a neutral color after your shoot. This room had formerly been known as "Studio Mikey" and “Studio MLP” for those of you who have been to Hide House photo-shoots and have seen the space.

      Photo studio rental includes... The room is set up with a 6-light system with Light Link wireless triggers. There is also a triple wall-mounted backdrop paper holder and it’s usually stocked for high-key and low-key, but you can do your own paper also. Several props are also included in the room. The space has an informal divided dressing area for model privacy and restrooms are down the hall.

      Can be rented by the half day, full day, or discounted for several contiguous days as available. Please call with any questions or to book time.

GENERAL INFO FOR ROOMS AT THE HIDE HOUSE
All rooms, except the designated band rooms, are available for professional or artistic uses. Rooms on upper floors are accessible via stairs and large freight elevator. Heating surcharge based on actual room size is budgeted across 12 months. Electric and water included for non-industrial users. Tenant access is 24/7. Hide House has it’s own parking lot and plentiful no-restriction street parking – it’s quite a change if you’re coming from the Third Ward!

Since our ads started in late February, Hide House has rented 15 of our 17 available rooms (2 new listings added since then). Don’t hesitate to get in on a great opportunity to work in an environment of creative energy.
